About Us

Amy Dameron Phipps

A native of Detroit, Amy is a summa cum laude graduate of Trinity University and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.  Before joining Lee+ Associates, she served as the Executive Director of the Genevieve and Ward Orsinger Foundation and as Director of Community Investment and Philanthropy for Zachry Holdings, Inc.  Prior to joining Zachry as Executive Director of The Zachry Foundation in 2006, she sustained a lengthy career in resource development for nonprofits, including The Children’s Shelter, SAMMinistries and The Winston School San Antonio.

She was named Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the San Antonio Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals in 2006.  She has served on the Boards of the Youth Orchestras of San Antonio, the San Antonio Choral Society, St. Paul’s Episcopal Montessori School, the Planned Giving Council of San Antonio, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and on the Education Issue Council of the United Way of San Antonio & Bexar County, Tuesday Musical Club, and the Steering Committee of the Friends of Communities in Schools San Antonio.

She is an alumna of Leadership San Antonio and is an incoming member of the Vestry of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, where she sings in the choir and has served on the Commission on Ministries, the Outreach Committee, the Attitude of Gratitude Committee and the leadership team of the Crockett Academy project.  She is married to David A. Phipps, President/CEO of Lifetime Recovery, and has two grown children and three grandchildren.
